deep breaths to say deep words, i miss you terribly.

sunday morning

i need you to come back for your herd of clouds.

they decided to follow me and to settle in my sky.

by the way, there’s red wine all over my walls now…

hint: wait until the text appears and roll over it

Clouds are not to be touched, they’re made only to be admired…

after all, clouds will stay up there and I’ll stay with you.

the water buffalo

when I was a kid, there was a big water buffalo living in the vacant lot at the end of our street, the one with the grass no one ever mowed. He slept most of the time, and ignored everybody who walked past, unless we happened to stop and ask him for advice. Then he would come up to us slowly, raise his left hoof and literally point us in the right direction. But he never said what he was pointing at, or how far we had to go, or what we were supposed to do once we got there. In fact, he never said anything because water buffalos are like that; they hate talking.

This was too frustrating for most of us. By the time anyone thought to ‘consult the buffalo’, our problem was usually urgent and required a straightforward and immediate solution. Eventually we stopped visiting him altogether, and I think he went away some time after that: all we could see was long grass.

It’s a shame, really, because whenever we had followed his pointy hoof we’d always been surprised, relieved and delighted at what we found. And every time we’d said exactly the same thing – ‘How did he know?’

this picture and text is obviously not mine, this is an extract from shaun tan’s – tales from outer suburbia… one of my favorite books [if not my favorite] .

*sighs* i wish he moved to my street, but i guess it’s too cold for buffalos.

swear.swore.sworn

hello y’all… seems like I haven’t been too personal on here (and that i like white backgrounds a lot, 3 posts in a row)… anyway, i just [kinda] finished the layout of this blog, finally im happy with something and my friends think is very “me”, so i’ll stick with it.

I was gonna talk about how amazing 2009 has been… and now that it’s over I’ll have to start again to make amazing experiences better than the ones this year… (sighs) so, these are my resolutions for this year!

and before starting i should say, excuse my english.

  1. moving out to a place where i’m happy!, don’t get me wrong canada [montreal] you’re cool and everything [instert kanye joke here] but i know a couple of places where i’d rather be.
  2. to draw/edit everyday (personal stuff, not scholar) no matter how busy school keeps me.
  3. to keep this blog alive… I needed somewhere for creative vomit, now i have it, i’ll try to stick to it.
  4. to work! work work work for the first time in my life, I’m so curious how this will turn out.
  5. to dress better! I KNOW this sounds uber-shallow, but this is important people! very important!.
  6. whoa, it’s getting difficult to think more… to become a better designer!
  7. to care  more about my friends, I love them, but sometimes i just forget things or I don’t put enough attention.
  8. amour, amor, liebe, and in all the languages you want
  9. to eat healthier this means divorcing from nutella too… this is number 9 for that reason
  10. to be nicer with people, sometimes I can be such an ass..

so, if you have time, let me know yours, maybe comment on this post?
